Information for Prospective Undergraduate Students
View the calendar below to see if a guided tour is scheduled when you plan to visit us. Select your desired date and time, and then RSVP in the event list that appears below the calendar. For directions to the Engineering Quadrangle, please visit this link.
Please Note: Members of the Tau Beta Pi engineering honor society offer guided tours during the fall term from mid-September to mid-December and the spring term from mid-February to early May. Further details about Princeton University’s academic year are available here.
Sorry, No Large Groups
Please note that our engineering tours are intended for prospective undergraduate students visiting campus individually, along with their families. Due to the large number of prospective students and family members taking tours, as well as the narrow hallways in the Engineering Quadrangle, we are unfortunately not able to accomodate large organized tour groups or groups arriving by bus.
Regardless of the situation, large groups of visitors will be turned away at the door. No exceptions.
Available Tour Dates and Planning Your Visit
If you are planning to visit Princeton during your school vacation week, please note that many other prospective students and their families have the very same idea. Tours during traditional high school vacation weeks are usually huge, and navigating the corridors of the E-Quad with such large groups is difficult. If at all possible, we encourage you to consider visiting us at a different time when high schools are not on vacation at the same time. If this is the only time you visit, we urge prospective students to move to the front of the tour to hear the guide better.
Thank you for your interest in the School of Engineering and Applied Science at Princeton University.
